introduction
Since the defense of my PhD in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics on Computer Graphics in February 2011, I have been working as both a Research assistant and a Rendering engineer. Prior to that, I graduated from the Ensimag French engineer school, and got my Master's degree in Computer Graphics, Vision, and Robotics from the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble in 2006.
On a personal note, I am passionate about digital art and the creation of computer-generated imagery in general, and thus looking forward to taking part in the production of a movie's special effects or a video game, either as a programmer or a R&D engineer.
My formation at the Ensimag school gave me good programming skills and a sound mathematical knowledge, while my subsequent research in Computer Graphics provided me with a thorough and solid theoretical background in 3d modeling, animation, and rendering. From 2006 to 2010, I particularly specialized in rendering by preparing my PhD with the ARTIS team (now called Maverick) from the INRIA Grenoble - Rhône-Alpes laboratory, under the supervision of François Sillion and Cyril Soler. During that time, I explored both realistic and rendering, with a particular emphasis on raster and vector texture synthesis, but also computational photography, colorimetry, and image processing as a whole.
At the moment, I have a 10+ year long experience of C++, Python, and OpenGL programming, most of the time combined with the Qt framework for dealing with fast GUI implementation. I am also accustomed to work under either a Linux, or Windows developing environment.
